Phlebotomy service now available to book online


From 19 October, patients can use the phlebotomy booking system to independently book their phlebotomy/blood test appointment with their preferred location without having to wait in a phone queue. Booking a blood test appointment is now 6 simple steps away.

How do I book an appointment?

If your GP requires you to have a blood test, you will be given a blood test form. With the form at hand, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click here

Step 2: Choose your preferred location.

Step 3: Select your preferred date and time.

Step 4: Insert details and register.

Step 5: Indicate required assistance and agree to terms and conditions.

Step 6: Confirm your appointment.

To decrease wait times for patients, the introduction of the online booking system aims to be more time efficient and improve patient experience when booking an appointment. Whilst patients will no longer need to use the telephone line to book an appointment, the line (0203 930 0245) will still be available Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00) for those who are unable to book online.

    I need to cancel Mrs Helen Banks – my mother’s blood test on Wednesday 16th December at 14.32. She is currently in hospital so wont be able to attend.

    I have been trying to get through to someone on the telephone for days
    I have an appointment on Dec 10th @1.24pm at Eden Park Surgery. I no longer require this appointment so please cancel accordingly

    I have an appointment tomorrow , 14 December, for a blood test at 7.40 am, at Orpington Hospital Sevenoaks Road, Orpington, Kent, BR6 9JU

    Sorry for the short notice but I have just learned that I was in contact with a person who has tested positive for covid19. I need, therefore to cancel this appointment and self isolate. I will telephone tomorrow to make a new appointment.

    This booking process is a joke. I’ve now been on the phone for 1 hour 30 mins with NO ANSWER and not even any information to say how long you will have to wait.

    I am not computer literate but had to try as I was unable to talk to anyone on the telephone even though I tried fro 2 days.I was in a queue and told to wait to get connected then the phone rang and was immediately cut off.
    My form is dated 15 th December and I managed to get a slot at Eden PRk surgery 6 Jan 2021 at 12 noon but I am wondering if I filled in the details correctly.so please will you check if I have made appt.
