Bromley GP Alliance has been supporting Bromley Homeless Shelter since 2019 and in March 2023 the Bromley Homeless Service commenced. The service is led by our Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Jackson, and strives to form alliances to support our most vulnerable to ensure equal access to primary care services for all.
Bromley GP Alliance has been supporting Bromley Homeless Shelter since 2019 and in March 2023 the Bromley Homeless Service commenced. The service is led by our Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Jackson, and strives to form alliances to support our most vulnerable to ensure equal access to primary care services for all.
The service accommodates both walk-ins and appointments and can offer the homeless community access to support from various multi-disciplinary teams (GP, Drugs and Alcohol, Addiction Worker, Mental Health, Community Nursing and Podiatry).

Corridor of Hope Podcast
We have launched a new podcast called: Corridor of Hope.
This podcast explores the ever-growing issue surrounding homelessness and the people it affects the most. Corridor of Hope hears from those who work alongside Bromley Homeless Charity and the BGPA Homeless Health Service to explore how local partnerships and services are helping those who truly need it in the community.
Healthcare professionals can use EMIS and refer patients on the ROP.
Homeless individuals who walk-in to a practice requesting an appointment can be seen by the Health Team. Please call Nurse Sarah on 0800 260 5995 and she will inform you if they can be seen on the day.
The team can look after those currently living on the streets, in temporary accommodation, sofa surfing or those sleeping in their car.
If someone is struggling to attend a review appointment i.e. asthma, COPD, diabetes check and is homeless/sofa surfing, then they can have an ‘open appointment’ with Sarah. They will be given a particular day to come to the service to be seen.
